    Donald C. Wood

    • President – Chief Executive Officer, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Federal Realty is one of the oldest real estate investment trusts (REITs) in the country and was formed in 1962 here in the Washington D.C. area. Federal is a publicly owned company trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:FRT). The company is a proven leader in the ownership, operation and redevelopment of some of the best recognized and special retail destinations in the country including Bethesda Row, Pentagon Row and Congressional Plaza in suburban D.C.; Santana Row and Third Street Promenade in California; Barracks Road in Charlottesville Virginia and 80 more interesting and community-enhancing shopping environments.

    The company is and has been guided by New Jersey native Don Wood since 2002 who, along with a dedicated and passionate management team and their staffs, is committed to a philosophy of balance in all that they do.     Don has been with Federal Realty since 1998, where he is a Trustee and has served in positions from Chief Financial Officer to Chief Operating Officer to President before being named its Chief Executive in 2002. Prior to his affiliation with Federal, Don spent 8 years at New York-based ITT Corporation where he served in various capacities, including Deputy Controller and Chief Financial Officer, of wholly-owned subsidiary Caesars World, Inc. The first 7 years of his career were spent at accounting firm Arthur Andersen, leaving in 1989 to work for client Donald Trump as the Vice President of Finance for the newly acquired Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

    Don is very active charitably through his work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In 2002, Don took the reins of the Breath of Life Gala, at the time a fledgling event supporting Cystic Fibrosis research, and, with the help of a committed and tenacious team of volunteers and CFF staffers, grew the Gala into what has consistently been one of the most financially and experientially successful events in Washington D.C. and the number one gala nationally for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Don’s daughter, Rachel, was born with the genetic disease.

    Don received his Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State College in 1982, where he graduated with honors and subsequently received his CPA from the state of New Jersey. He is a past chair of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), a member of the Executive Committee of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and also serves on the Board and Chairs the Investment and Strategic Advisory Committee of Post Properties (NYSE:PPS), an Atlanta-based apartment company. He is also a member of the U.S. Capital Chapter of the World President’s Organization (WPO), and was previously named “Entrepreneur of the Year in Real Estate” by professional services firm Ernst and Young. He has been married to Stacey Sykes Wood for 24 years and has four children who he is immensely proud of named Ian (22), Jason (20), Kevin (19) and Rachel (19).

    Dawn Becker

    • Executive Vice President – Chief Operating Officer, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Dawn Becker is Executive Vice President – Chief Operating Officer of Federal Realty Investment Trust. In that capacity, Ms. Becker is responsible for directing the strategy and day-to-day activities of the Trust’s real estate portfolio. Ms. Becker also serves as the Trust’s General Counsel and Secretary with responsibility for all of the Trust’s legal matters.

    Ms. Becker joined Federal Realty in 1997, and was named Chief Operating Officer in 2010 and General Counsel and Secretary in 2002. Ms. Becker also advises the Trust’s Board on corporate governance issues and serves as a member of the Trust’s Investment Committee.

    Ms. Becker received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Bucknell University and holds a Juris Doctorate from Stanford University School of Law. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.

    • Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Jim Taylor is the Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In addition to his duties as the CFO, Mr. Taylor is responsible for sourcing and evaluating business development and strategic opportunities for the Trust. Mr. Taylor also serves as a member of the Trust’s Investment Committee. Mr. Taylor brings a deep understanding of the Trust’s business strengths and disciplined balance sheet strategy, having worked as a valued partner to the Trust over the last 13 years.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty, Mr. Taylor served as the Senior Managing Director and head of real estate investment banking at of Eastdil Secured / Wells Fargo, an industry leader in real estate debt, equity and M&A. Mr. Taylor successfully completed over $100 billion of public debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, asset and portfolio sales, private equity placements, mortgage financings, and bank loans for his real estate clients. Prior to joining Eastdil Secured, Mr. Taylor practiced corporate and securities law at Hunton & Williams, where he represented both issuers and underwriters in public and private equity offerings, debt offerings and M&A transactions, with a focus on equity REITs. Mr. Taylor also worked as a senior accountant for Price Waterhouse in Washington, D.C.

    Mr. Taylor graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelors of Science in Commerce in 1988 and Juris Doctor in 1994. Mr. Taylor is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.

    Chris Weilminster

    • Executive Vice President - Real Estate and Leasing, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Mr. Weilminster is Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Leasing for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Weilminster is responsible for all leasing and merchandising for the Trust's shopping center properties, redevelopment and new development projects. In addition, he is also responsible for identifying hotel and office partners for Federal Realty's mixed-use projects. Mr. Weilminster also serves as a member of the Trust's Investment Committee.

    Mr. Weilminster joined the Trust in 1990 as a small shop-leasing associate with primary responsibility for the Trust's Washington, D.C. area properties. In 1996, he was promoted to Anchor Tenant Leasing. He was promoted to Vice President-Anchor Tenant Leasing in 2000, Senior Vice President-Leasing in 2005, and then promoted to Executive Vice President in January 2015.

    Mr. Weilminster completed graduate work in Real Estate Development at Johns Hopkins University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from Syracuse University. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mr. Weilminster is also an Advisory Board member for Neediest Kids, a program of the National Center for Children and Families.

    • Executive Vice President - President of West Coast, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Jeff Berkes is Executive Vice President - President of West Coast for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Berkes is responsible for leading the Trust’s West Coast Leasing, Development, Asset Management, and Acquisitions teams; achieving corporate P & L goals; and growing the Trust’s West Coast portfolio. Prior to his current role, Mr. Berkes was the Trust’s Chief Investment Officer since 2004. Mr. Berkes also serves as a member of the Trust’s Executive, Investment, and Finance Committees. Mr. Berkes is located in the Trust's West Coast Headquarters at Santana Row in San Jose, California.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty in 2000, Mr. Berkes was Vice President of Acquisitions and Finance for Velsor Properties, a Northern Virginia-based private real estate investment firm. He served as Director of Acquisitions for Federal Realty from April 1997 to August 1998. Prior to joining Federal Realty in 1997, Mr. Berkes was Vice President of Acquisitions for Heitman Financial/JMB Institutional Realty Corp. He also worked as a loan officer for ITT Real Estate Services and as a Regional Investment Analyst for CB/Richard Ellis prior to joining JMB.

    Mr. Berkes has an undergraduate degree in Finance and Real Estate from University of Denver and a Masters of Business Administration in International Finance from George Washington University. Mr. Berkes is an active member of The George Washington University Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis Advisory Board, Urban Land Institute, and International Council of Shopping Centers.

    • Executive Vice President - Development , Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Mr. Don Briggs is Executive Vice President - Development for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Briggs is responsible for managing the Trust’s east coast pipeline of development and leading the Trust’s office in New England. Mr. Briggs also serves as a member of the Trust’s Investment and Executive Committees.

    With over 20 years’ experience in real estate development and the construction industry, he has been responsible for the development of several mixed-use projects and public/private endeavors, including the development of Rockville Town Square, phases of Bethesda Row, phases of Santana Row, and currently Assembly Square and Pike & Rose.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty in 2000, Mr. Briggs worked as a Development Manager for Cousins Properties and with Whiting-Turner Contracting Company as a senior project manager. Mr. Briggs has a degree in Architecture from the University of Florida. He currently serves as the ULI Boston/New England District Chair and is part of their Advisory Board Leadership Team. Mr. Briggs also serves as a board member for NAIOP Massachusetts, A Better City, and Cambridge Trust Company.

    Debbie Colson

    • Senior Vice President – Legal Operations, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Debbie Colson is Senior Vice President – Legal Operations for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this position, Ms. Colson oversees Federal Realty's legal leasing function, which includes "Main Street" properties, new development projects and shopping center properties, as well as well as property management and litigation matters.

    Ms. Colson joined Federal Realty in 1995 and was promoted to Director – Legal Leasing in 1998. In 2000, Ms. Colson was named Vice President – Legal Leasing, and in 2002 assumed the position of Vice President – Legal Operations. Later in 2005, Ms. Colson was promoted to Senior Vice President – Legal Operations.

    Before joining Federal Realty, Ms. Colson specialized in real estate-related transactional work for major retailers such as Hechinger Company, American Stores Company, and Amoco Oil Company. Ms. Colson graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Cum Laude, and the University of Maryland School of Law.

  • 8 Jeff Mooallem

    Jeff Mooallem

    • Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Core Portfolio, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Mr. Jeff Mooallem joined Federal in 2015 as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Core Shopping Center Operations. He is responsible for the performance and operations of the Core Portfolio, which comprises 58 shopping centers totaling over 11 million square feet and generating nearly a quarter billion dollars of property level operating income from the Boston suburbs through metropolitan Washington DC, including assets in Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York and New Jersey.

    Mr. Mooallem has nearly 20 years’ experience in all facets of the retail real estate industry, with a focus on development, leasing, acquisitions and property operations. He has worked extensively in many of the Trust’s major markets throughout the country, including New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Miami. Most recently, Jeff has held senior level positions at Turnberry Associates in Miami, FL and Equity One in San Francisco, CA.

    Jeff holds a B.S. from Boston University and a law degree from Fordham University and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

    Wendy Seher

    • Senior Vice President – Leasing, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Ms. Wendy Seher is Senior Vice President – Leasing for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Ms. Seher oversees the day to day leasing activities throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions as well as leasing anchor space throughout the portfolio. Ms. Seher joined Federal Realty in 2002 and has more than 25 years of experience within the retail real estate industry.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty, Ms. Seher was a principal with the J. Donegan Company, a Northern Virginia-based private real estate development company, where she managed new development leasing, third-party leasing, and tenant representation. Previously, Ms. Seher worked for Peterson Company and Fried Companies in a variety of leasing capacities.

    Ms. Seher earned a bachelor's in business administration from University of Maryland, College Park. She is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

    John Tschiderer is Senior Vice President – Development for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Tschiderer is responsible for the comprehensive direction and management of all phases of project development and redevelopment for Federal Realty's core portfolio. John has been instrumental in managing projects ranging from public-private partnerships, mixed-use development to core portfolio redevelopment. His responsibilities include site development feasibility analyses, development program master planning, land use entitlement, and design and construction management.

    Mr. Tschiderer has been active in the land development industry for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Federal Realty in 1998, he worked with Faison Associates as Managing Director of Retail Development, and before that, with Western Development Corporation as Vice President of Development.

    Mr. Tschiderer has a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers where he serves on the Center Build Planning Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Bethesda Green, a nonprofit partnership promoting sustainable growth and living practices in Bethesda, Maryland and sits on the President’s Advisory Council at Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania.

    Mr. Porter Bellew is Vice President – Chief Information Officer for Federal Realty Investment Trust. He is responsible for the Trust’s information technology strategy, services, operations, and team.

    Mr. Bellew has over 25 years of experience in real estate information management. Prior to joining Federal in 2015, Mr. Bellew served as Chief Information Officer for commercial real estate owner, operator, and developer, Washington REIT. Previously, Mr. Bellew worked as Senior IT Director with CarrAmerica Realty, and held senior positions as a consultant with firms KPMG Consulting/BearingPoint and Apgar & Co., where he advised real estate owners, managers and corporate occupants on real estate information strategy and business process improvement.

    Mr. Bellew holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia, and subsequently received his CPA from the state of Virginia.

    Mr. Stuart Biel is Vice President of Leasing for the Mixed-Use Division for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this role, Mr. Biel leads the Trusts leasing and merchandising efforts for existing mixed-use assets on the East Coast, in addition to properties with large scale redevelopment potential.

    Mr. Biel joined the trust in 2005 as a Junior Leasing Agent, focused on canvassing and identifying local and independent retailers. He was promoted in 2010 to Senior Leasing Agent, focusing primarily on the Trust's existing mixed use properties as well as on the ground up development of both Pike & Rose in North Bethesda, MD and Assembly Row in Somerville, MA.

    Mr. Biel has a B.A. from George Washington University and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers ICSC, and the Next Generation committee. He currently lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife and daughter.

    Seth Bland

    Seth Bland is Vice President – Development West Coast for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Bland is responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of the Trust’s development activities on the West Coast, including managing the Trust’s West Coast Development Team.

    In his nearly thirty years as a developer in the Bay Area, including ten as a partner at Wilson Meany Sullivan, Mr. Bland has directly managed the successful development (or redevelopment) of, among more than 40 stand-alone projects: high-rise, transit-oriented mixed-use residential/retail such as The Beacon and Glassworks in San Francisco and The 88 in San Jose; the West Coast’s tallest historic renovation, of the 1925 140 New Montgomery Street in San Francisco; and urban mid-rise multifamily such as Shipley Square, 350 Jackson, and Field House at Bay Meadows. He is an active member of ULI and SPUR, and has degrees from Saint Mary’s College and Stanford University.

    Mr. Carty is Vice President – East Coast Acquisitions for Federal Realty Investment Trust. Mr. Carty joined Federal Realty in 2000 as a senior financial analyst, was promoted to director of acquisitions in 2003, senior director in 2007 and vice president in 2011. He has been responsible for acquisitions for the Trust's East Coast regions for the past ten years, and has over 15 years of financial analysis and acquisitions experience.

    Prior to joining the Trust, Mr. Carty was a Senior Real Estate analyst at HFF, L.P., a mortgage banking firm specializing in debt placement, equity, structured financing, property sales and loan servicing. His experience includes analysis, submission and closing of real estate loans and property sales, including due diligence and market research.

    Mr. Carty received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a programs committee member for ICSC in South Florida.

    Vice President - Residential Branding & Operations, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Mr. Michael Ennes is Vice President - Residential Branding & Operations for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this position, Mr. Ennes is responsible for the rollout and oversight of the Trust’s residential platform, much of which is concentrated in its large, mixed-use communities like Bethesda Row, Pike & Rose, Santana Row and Assembly Row. The Trust currently owns and oversees operations for nearly 1,500 exclusive residences on the east and west coasts and expects that number to grow significantly over the next five years.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty, Mr. Ennes was Senior Director of brand development for luxury and lifestyle brands for Hilton Worldwide. In that role, Mr. Ennes was responsible for supporting global development efforts to grow the Waldorf Astoria and Conrad brands, and leading the concept development of Canopy, a new global lifestyle brand. In addition, Mr. Ennes’ prior professional experience includes hotel development and contract negotiation, hospitality real estate consulting and valuation, and several hotel operations positions.

    Mr. Ennes received a MBA with a specialization in Hotel Finance and Investments from Daniels College of Business at University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Arts from The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. Mr. Ennes sits on the Hospitality Real Estate Development Advisory Board at Michigan State University.

    Evan Goldman is Vice President – Development for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Goldman manages the redevelopment of Mid-Pike Plaza in North Bethesda, Maryland and other redevelopment opportunities in Federal Realty's portfolio.

    Mr. Goldman joined Federal Realty in July 2008 with ten years of experience in development, finance, and architecture. Prior to joining Federal Realty, he was a Partner at the Holladay Corporation, a mixed-use development company in Washington, D.C., where he began his involvement with the White Flint Partnership. He has also worked as an Associate for Tishman Speyer Properties and as Vice President of Design for LeRoy Adventures.

    Mr. Goldman holds a MBA in Real Estate and Finance from the Wharton Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University. He serves on both the Advisory Board and the Management Committee of the Urban Land Institute Washington.

    Patrick Inaba is the Vice President – Construction and Tenant Services for Federal Realty Investment Trust. Mr. In this capacity, Mr. Inaba manages all tasks related planning, documenting and delivery of all work required by new tenant leases throughout the Trust's portfolio. With an annual construction budget of approximately $20 million, Mr. Inaba and his team fulfill the design, planning, entitlement and build out requirements associated with the roughly 300 leases signed each year for anchor and small shop space.

    Mr. Inaba has over 20 years’ experience in the positions of group Vice President, Tenant Services at The Mills Corporation and Director, Design and Construction for the Diedrich Coffee Corporation. Mr. Inaba is an instructor of Construction and Tenant Coordination for the ICSC JTR School of professional development.

    Mr. Inaba holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California Irvine, a California General Contractor’s License , a SCDP designation (Senior Certified Development, Design and Construction Professional), and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

    Deirdre M. Johnson, CRX

    • Vice President of Asset Management – Core Shopping Center Division, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Ms. Deirdre Johnson is a Vice President of Asset Management – Core Shopping Center Division for Federal Realty Investment Trust. Mrs. Johnson’s asset management responsibilities include short term and long term value creation initiatives, strategic planning, redevelopment strategies, property branding and creative ancillary income opportunities for a portfolio of shopping centers. In addition, Ms. Johnson currently oversees development of The Stories, a new kind of community designed with the well-being of older adults in mind.

    Ms. Johnson joined the Trust in 2007 as a Director, Asset Management. In addition to responsibility for mixed-use, lifestyle and community shopping centers, Ms. Johnson also spearheaded development and management of the regional paid parking programs as well as overseeing the regional property marketing and public relations programs and residential portfolio.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty Investment Trust in 2007, Ms. Johnson was Vice President and General Manager at Capitol Real Estate Services Inc. She also worked for Urban Retail Properties Company and The Rouse Company in a variety of management, marketing and leasing positions. Mrs. Johnson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. She was awarded the ICSC’s Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX) designation in 2013 and Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation in 1995. Deirdre is also a member of the International Parking Institute (IPI).

    • Vice President – Specialty Leasing, Retail and Office, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Mike Kelleher is Vice President – Specialty Leasing, Retail and Office for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this role, Mr. Kelleher manages and directs the specialty leasing activities at the Trust’s properties. This includes the short term leasing of in-line space, sponsorships, corporate partnerships, common area leasing, advertising and programing. During Mr. Kelleher’s tenure, the Specialty Leasing program at Federal Realty has grown significantly. In addition, Mr. Kelleher leases office space on a long term basis at properties in New York, Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

    Mr. Kelleher has almost 20 years of experience in management, sales, and marketing prior to joining the Trust. He previously served as Vice President and General Manager with the Rouse Company, and later General Growth Properties, at Faneuil Hall Marketplace, a historic festival marketplace in downtown Boston. During his time there, Mr. Kelleher oversaw the $30 million renovation of the historic property and led the operations, leasing, specialty leasing, and marketing efforts as well as the celebration of the Faneuil Hall Marketplace’s 25th anniversary.

    Mr. Michael Linson is Vice President – Finance, Core Shopping Center Division for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this position, he is responsible all financial aspects to support leasing, asset management, development and operations of a portfolio of 58 shopping center comprising 11 million square feet located in major metropolitan areas along the east coast between Boston and Washington, DC. His responsibilities include financial reporting, forecasting and financial analysis for leasing and redevelopment opportunities within the portfolio.

    Mr. Linson has over 20 years of real estate finance and accounting experience. Prior to joining Federal Realty, Mr. Linson held the position of Senior Vice President, Finance and Transactions at Penzance. Among his responsibilities at Penzance, Mr. Linson oversaw all aspects of property finance and asset management for the company’s entire commercial real estate portfolio. Previously, Mr. Linson was the Senior Director, Development Asset Management at the Mills Corporation. He also held finance and accounting positions at PG&E National Energy Group, UBS, Marriott International and Arthur Andersen.

    Mr. Linson received his BBA in Accounting from Loyola University in Maryland and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

    • Vice President – Leasing West Coast, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Mr. Jeff Kreshek is Vice President – West Coast Leasing for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Kreshek oversees the day to day leasing activities of the west coast portfolio. Primary responsibilities include sourcing new retailer relationships, negotiating all leases and lease related documents, and overseeing and directing third party real estate professionals.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty, Mr. Kreshek was the Principal in charge of leasing for The CIM Group where he was responsible for formulating the leasing strategy on CIM’s commercial portfolio of approximately twelve million square feet. Prior to joining The CIM Group, Mr. Kreshek was the Vice President of Development and Operations for Regent Properties, Inc. and before that, Mr. Kreshek formed and operated Vision Property Management, Inc., a full service real estate development, leasing and management company. Mr. Kreshek brings over 26 years of experience to the Trust in leasing, entitlements, property and asset management with an emphasis on redeveloping and repositioning underperforming and functionally obsolete assets.

    Mr. Kreshek received his undergraduate degree in Real Estate Finance, his Masters of Business Administration and his Masters of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. In addition, Mr. Kreshek holds the Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Senior Certified Shopping Center Manager (SCSM), Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) designations, and retains his position as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Southern California, teaching Retail Development in the Masters of Real Estate Development program.

    Mr. Jarett Parker is Vice President - Asset Management of the Metro DC Region for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Parker is primarily responsible for the performance of the Trust’s 17 Asset Metro DC shopping center portfolio operations, with a specific emphasis on value creation and strategic planning. Mr. Parker joined Federal Realty in June 2015 and brings over 14 years of retail leasing, asset management, acquisition, disposition and development experience.

    Prior to joining the Trust, Mr. Parker spent over nine years with Kimco Realty Corporation. He began his tenure with Kimco as a Leasing Associate and held various positions which culminated in his role as Director of Asset Management, Acquisition & Disposition for Kimco’s Mid-Atlantic Region shopping center portfolio.

    Mr. Parker holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland and a M.S. in Real Estate Development from Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, former Next Generation Advisory Board Member and is currently an ICSC Membership Ambassador. Mr. Parker resides in Washington, DC.

    Melissa Solis is Vice President – Chief Accounting Officer for Federal Realty Investment Trust. Ms. Solis joined Federal Realty in 2007 as Controller and was promoted to Vice President – Chief Accounting Officer in 2011, and has over 10 years of financial accounting and audit experience.

    Prior to joining the Trust, Mrs. Solis was a senior manager at Ernst & Young in the assurance and advisory business services group specializing in real estate. Her experience includes audit, accounting for complex real estate transactions, financial reporting and analysis, SEC reporting as well as expertise with respect to internal controls.

    Mrs. Solis is a Certified Public Accountant and has a bachelor's degree with a double major in accounting and finance from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

    Mr. George Stamatakos is Vice President – Construction for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Stamatakos manages the construction of the redevelopment of Pike and Rose in North Bethesda, Maryland.

    Mr. Stamatakos joined Federal Realty in August 2011 with twenty-three years of experience in the construction and development fields. Prior to joining Federal Realty, he was a Partner at Faison & Associates, a retail and a high end Condo & Apartment development company in Charlotte, North Carolina - where he was in charge of all residential projects from Washington DC through Florida. Mr. Stamatakos has also worked for Post Properties, Properties and The Clark Construction Group as Sr. Project Manager.

    Mr. Stamatakos has a degree in Building Construction and Contracting from the Georgia Southern University. He currently is a member ULI.

    Jan Sweetnam is Vice President—Western Region Chief Operating Officer for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Sweetnam directs the strategy and day-to-day activities for the Trust's Western Region which includes properties located from California to Florida totaling nearly four million square feet. Mr. Sweetnam also serves as a member of the Trust's Investment Committee. Mr. Sweetnam joined the Trust in 1997 as Acquisitions Director and in 1998 assumed the responsibility of redeveloping the Trust's Street Retail assets in Santa Monica, San Diego, Pasadena and Los Angeles, CA.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty, Mr. Sweetnam was Vice President - Director of Acquisitions with CB Richard Ellis Investors. He was responsible for the acquisition of investment properties in the Midwest and Southwest regions of the United States for pension fund clients such as the State of Utah, Building Investment Trust and CalPERS. Mr. Sweetnam joined CB Richard Ellis Investors in 1990 where he also served as Portfolio Manager for community shopping centers, Marketing Director for urban office buildings and Leasing Director for industrial properties. From 1986 through 1988 he was employed by Julien J. Studley as a real estate investment sales broker in Los Angeles.

    Mr. Sweetnam received a Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles. He is an active member of the Northern and Southern California real estate committees.

Prior to his affiliation with Federal, Don spent 8 years at New York-based ITT Corporation where he served in various capacities, including Deputy Controller and Chief Financial Officer, of wholly-owned subsidiary Caesars World, Inc. The first 7 years of his career were spent at accounting firm Arthur Andersen, leaving in 1989 to work for client Donald Trump as the Vice President of Finance for the newly acquired Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

    Don is very active charitably through his work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In 2002, Don took the reins of the Breath of Life Gala, at the time a fledgling event supporting Cystic Fibrosis research, and, with the help of a committed and tenacious team of volunteers and CFF staffers, grew the Gala into what has consistently been one of the most financially and experientially successful events in Washington D.C. and the number one gala nationally for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Don’s daughter, Rachel, was born with the genetic disease.

    Don received his Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State College in 1982, where he graduated with honors and subsequently received his CPA from the state of New Jersey. He is a past chair of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), a member of the Executive Committee of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and also serves on the Board and Chairs the Investment and Strategic Advisory Committee of Post Properties (NYSE:PPS), an Atlanta-based apartment company. He is also a member of the U.S. Capital Chapter of the World President’s Organization (WPO), and was previously named “Entrepreneur of the Year in Real Estate” by professional services firm Ernst and Young. He has been married to Stacey Sykes Wood for 24 years and has four children who he is immensely proud of named Ian (22), Jason (20), Kevin (19) and Rachel (19).

    Chief Executive Officer, President, Chairman and a Trustee of Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, a REIT that acquires and operates upper upscale hotels in large US cities (from 2009 to the present); Chief Executive Officer and a Trustee (from 1998 to 2009), President (from 1998 to 2008) and Chairman of the Board (from 2001 to 2009) of LaSalle Hotel Properties, a multitenant, multi-operator hotel REIT; and various real estate related positions with Jones Lang LaSalle (from 1981 to 1998). Mr. Bortz brings to the Board public company, REIT and real estate experience. His experience as chief executive officer of LaSalle Hotel Properties and Pebblebrook Hotel Trust provide a valuable perspective for running a public real estate company while his real estate experience at Jones Lang LaSalle provides fundamental real estate and development experience critical to our core business.

Mr. Faeder is a valuable member of the Board because of his public company and accounting experience, having previously served as president of Sunrise Senior Living, and his real estate investment experience from his time as a private real estate investor.

(from 2002 to 2007), a management and technology consulting firm that provides application services, technology solutions and managed services to companies and government organizations with responsibility for overseeing the global commercial services business unit; global managing partner and a founding member of Arthur Andersen’s business consulting practice (from 1984 to 2002). Director of MTS Systems Corporation, a provider of mechanical test systems, material testing, fatigue testing and tensile testing equipment as well as motion simulation systems and calibration services. Ms. Steinel has over 25 years of auditing and consulting experience that provides the Board with a helpful perspective on managing risk and systems operations.

Mr. Thompson’s experience running restaurants owned by Thompson Hospitality provides the Board and management with a unique perspective that is shared by a large percentage of the Trust’s retail tenants.

(from 2000 to 2005), a retailer specializing in home, office, and computer products, with responsibility for overseeing domestic and international growth in its retail and commercial operations; various other officer positions with Staples’ and Staples Realty & Development, a subsidiary of Staples, Inc. (from 1997 to 2000); former Director of iParty Corp., a premier multi-channel party supply and party planning company; Lead Director of Life Time Fitness, Inc., an operator of distinctive and large sports, athletic, fitness and family recreation centers; Chairman of the Board of Visitors to the College of Education at Temple University and also a member of its President's Council; and, a nominee to Office Depot's Board of Directors. Mr. Vassalluzzo’s extensive background in retail and real estate as a result of having served as an executive with Staples, expanding the real estate owned by Staples Realty & Development, a subsidiary of Staples, Inc. for over 10 years and serving on the boards of a number of retailers provides the board and management with retail and retail real estate expertise that is essential to our core business.
