    Donald C. Wood

    • President – Chief Executive Officer, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Founded in 1962 in Washington, D.C., Federal Realty is one of the oldest real estate investment trusts (REITs) and a recognized leader in the ownership, operation and redevelopment of high-quality, retail-based properties located primarily in major markets including Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and Miami; as well as Chicago, Northern California & Bay Area, and Los Angeles. Its expertise includes creating urban, mixed-use neighborhoods like Santana Row in San Jose, California, Pike & Rose in North Bethesda, Maryland and Assembly Row in Somerville, Massachusetts. These unique and vibrant environments that combine shopping, dining, living and working provide a destination experience valued by the communities they serve.

    Federal Realty has increased its dividends for 51 consecutive years, the longest record in the REIT industry. The company is an S&P 500 index member and its shares are traded on the NYSE.

    The company has been led by New Jersey-native Don Wood since 2002. Don, along with his dedicated and passionate team, is committed to a philosophy of balance in all that Federal Realty does.     Don has been with Federal Realty since 1998, where he is a Trustee and has served in positions from Chief Financial Officer to Chief Operating Officer to President before being named its Chief Executive in 2002. Prior to his affiliation with Federal, Don spent 8 years at New York-based ITT Corporation, where he served in various capacities, including Deputy Controller and Chief Financial Officer of wholly-owned subsidiary Caesars World, Inc. The first 7 years of his career were spent at accounting firm Arthur Andersen, leaving in 1989 to work for client Donald Trump as the Vice President of Finance for the then newly acquired Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

    Don is active charitably through his work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) among others. In 2002, Don took the reins of the Breath of Life Gala – at the time a fledgling event supporting cystic fibrosis research – and with the help of a committed and tenacious team of volunteers and CFF staffers, grew the gala into what became one of the most financially and experientially successful events in Washington, D.C. and the number one gala nationally for CFF. Don’s daughter, Rachel, was born with the genetic disease.

    Don received his Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State College in 1982, where he graduated with honors and subsequently received his CPA from the state of New Jersey. He is a past chair of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and also serves on the Board of Quality Care Properties (NYSE:QCP), a Maryland healthcare REIT. He is also a member of the U.S. Capital Chapter of the World President’s Organization (WPO) and was previously named “Entrepreneur of the Year in Real Estate” by professional services firm Ernst and Young. He has been married to Stacey Sykes Wood for 28 years and has four children who he is immensely proud of named Ian, Jason, Kevin, and Rachel.

    Dan Guglielmone

    • Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Dan Guglielmone is Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer of Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this role, he serves as a member of the Trust’s Executive and Investment Committees and is responsible for all capital market activity along with East Coast acquisitions. In addition, he oversees Federal Realty’s accounting, financial reporting and investor relations functions.

    Before joining Federal Realty in 2016, Mr. Guglielmone was Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Capital Markets at Vornado Realty Trust for 13 years and was responsible for numerous signature investments in New York, San Francisco, and Washington, DC. Prior to his time at Vornado, he spent 10 years in Investment Banking in the Real Estate and Lodging Group at Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup in New York, completing more than 175 capital markets and advisory transactions totaling in excess of $30 billion. He also worked in retail leasing and investment sales for Douglas Elliman Commercial.

    Mr. Guglielmone holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), and was a member of the Toys "R" Us Inc. Board from 2013 through 2015.

    Dawn Becker

    • Executive Vice President – General Counsel and Secretary, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Dawn Becker is Executive Vice President – General Counsel and Secretary of Federal Realty Investment Trust. In that capacity, Ms. Becker is responsible for directing the strategy and day-to-day activities of the Trust’s real estate portfolio. Ms. Becker also serves as the Trust’s General Counsel and Secretary with responsibility for all of the Trust’s legal matters.

    Ms. Becker joined Federal Realty in 1997, and was named Chief Operating Officer in 2010 and General Counsel and Secretary in 2002. Ms. Becker also advises the Trust’s Board on corporate governance issues and serves as a member of the Trust’s Investment Committee.

    Ms. Becker received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Bucknell University and holds a Juris Doctorate from Stanford University School of Law. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.

    Jeff Berkes

    • Executive Vice President – Western Region President, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Jeff Berkes is Executive Vice President - President of West Coast for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Berkes is responsible for leading the Trust’s West Coast Leasing, Development, Asset Management, and Acquisitions teams; achieving corporate P & L goals; and growing the Trust’s West Coast portfolio. Prior to his current role, Mr. Berkes was the Trust’s Chief Investment Officer since 2004. Mr. Berkes also serves as a member of the Trust’s Executive, Investment, and Finance Committees. Mr. Berkes is located in the Trust's West Coast Headquarters at Santana Row in San Jose, California.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty in 2000, Mr. Berkes was Vice President of Acquisitions and Finance for Velsor Properties, a Northern Virginia-based private real estate investment firm. He served as Director of Acquisitions for Federal Realty from April 1997 to August 1998. Prior to joining Federal Realty in 1997, Mr. Berkes was Vice President of Acquisitions for Heitman Financial/JMB Institutional Realty Corp. He also worked as a loan officer for ITT Real Estate Services and as a Regional Investment Analyst for CB/Richard Ellis prior to joining JMB.

    Mr. Berkes has an undergraduate degree in Finance and Real Estate from University of Denver and a Masters of Business Administration in International Finance from George Washington University. Mr. Berkes is an active member of The George Washington University Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis Advisory Board, Urban Land Institute, and International Council of Shopping Centers.

    Wendy Seher

    • Executive Vice President – Eastern Region President, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    As executive vice president – Eastern Region president for Federal Realty Investment Trust, Wendy Seher is responsible for leading the leasing, development, and asset management teams for the Trust’s East Coast portfolio, which comprises over 18 million square feet of real estate from Boston to Miami, and Chicago. She also serves as a member of the Trust's executive and investment committees.

    Ms. Seher has more than 30 years of experience within the retail real estate industry. Prior to her appointment to this role in 2019, she served in various capacities since joining the Trust in 2002. Previously, she was a principal with the J. Donegan Company, a Northern Virginia-based private real estate development company, where she managed new development leasing, third-party leasing, and tenant representation. Prior to this, she worked for Peterson Company and Fried Companies in a variety of leasing roles.

    Ms. Seher earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration from University of Maryland, College Park and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

  • 6 Jan Sweetnam

    Jan Sweetnam

    • Executive Vice President – Western Region Chief Operating Officer, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    As executive vice president – Western Region chief operating officer, Jan Sweetnam, oversees the asset management, operating and development activities for the Trust's West Coast portfolio, which represents nearly 5.5 million square feet of real estate and approximately 625 multi-family units. He also serves as a member of the Trust's executive and investment committees.

    Mr. Sweetnam, a seasoned executive with more than three decades in the industry, joined the Trust in 1997 holding positions in acquisitions and development. Prior to this, he was vice president, director of acquisitions with CB Richard Ellis Investors. He was responsible for the acquisition of investment properties in the Midwest and Southwest regions of the United States for pension fund clients such as the State of Utah, Building Investment Trust and CalPERS. Mr. Sweetnam joined CB Richard Ellis Investors in 1990 where he also served as portfolio manager for community shopping centers, marketing director for urban office buildings and leasing director for industrial properties. From 1986 through 1988 he was employed by Julien J. Studley as a real estate investment sales broker in Los Angeles.

    Mr. Sweetnam received a Master’s in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles. He is an active member of the Northern and Southern California real estate committees.

    Stuart Biel

    • Senior Vice President – Regional Leasing, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Mr. Stuart Biel is senior vice president – regional leasing for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this role, Mr. Biel leads the leasing and merchandising efforts for existing mixed-use assets on the East Coast, in addition to properties with large-scale redevelopment potential.

    Since joining the Trust in 2005, Mr. Biel has held multiple leasing roles focusing primarily on the Trust's existing mixed use properties, as well as on the ground up development of both Pike & Rose in North Bethesda, MD and Assembly Row in Somerville, MA.

    Mr. Biel has a B.A. from George Washington University and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers ICSC, and the Next Generation committee. He currently lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife and two daughters.

    Seth Bland

    • Senior Vice President – Regional Development, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    As senior vice president – regional development for Federal Realty Investment Trust, Seth Bland is responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of the Trust’s development activities on the West Coast, including managing the region’s development team.

    Mr. Bland joined the Trust in 2014 as vice president of development. Prior to this, he spent ten years as a partner at Wilson Meany Sullivan. In his more than 30 years as a developer in the Bay Area, Mr. Bland has directly managed the successful development and redevelopment of high-rise transit-oriented mixed-use residential/retail projects such as The Beacon and Glassworks in San Francisco, The 88 in San Jose, and the West Coast’s tallest historic renovation – the renovation of 1925’s 140 New Montgomery Street in San Francisco; as well as urban mid-rise multifamily projects such as Shipley Square, 350 Jackson, and Field House at Bay Meadows; among more than 50 standalone projects.

    Mr. Bland is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College.

    Debbie Colson

    • Senior Vice President – Legal Operations, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Debbie Colson is Senior Vice President – Legal Operations for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this position, Ms. Colson oversees Federal Realty's legal leasing function, which includes "Main Street" properties, new development projects and shopping center properties, as well as well as property management and litigation matters.

    Ms. Colson joined Federal Realty in 1995 and was promoted to Director – Legal Leasing in 1998. In 2000, Ms. Colson was named Vice President – Legal Leasing, and in 2002 assumed the position of Vice President – Legal Operations. Later in 2005, Ms. Colson was promoted to Senior Vice President – Legal Operations.

    Before joining Federal Realty, Ms. Colson specialized in real estate-related transactional work for major retailers such as Hechinger Company, American Stores Company, and Amoco Oil Company. Ms. Colson graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Cum Laude, and the University of Maryland School of Law.

  • 10 Jeff Kreshek

    Jeff Kreshek

    • Senior Vice President – Leasing, West Coast, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Mr. Jeff Kreshek is Senior Vice President – West Coast Leasing for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Kreshek oversees the day to day leasing activities of the west coast portfolio. Primary responsibilities include sourcing new retailer relationships, negotiating all leases and lease related documents, and overseeing and directing third party real estate professionals.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty, Mr. Kreshek was the Principal in charge of leasing for The CIM Group where he was responsible for formulating the leasing strategy on CIM’s commercial portfolio of approximately twelve million square feet. Prior to joining The CIM Group, Mr. Kreshek was the Vice President of Development and Operations for Regent Properties, Inc. and before that, Mr. Kreshek formed and operated Vision Property Management, Inc., a full service real estate development, leasing and management company. Mr. Kreshek brings over 26 years of experience to the Trust in leasing, entitlements, property and asset management with an emphasis on redeveloping and repositioning underperforming and functionally obsolete assets.

    Mr. Kreshek received his undergraduate degree in Real Estate Finance, his Masters of Business Administration and his Masters of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. In addition, Mr. Kreshek holds the Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Senior Certified Shopping Center Manager (SCSM), Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) designations, and retains his position as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Southern California, teaching Retail Development in the Masters of Real Estate Development program.

  • 11 Patrick McMahon

    Patrick McMahon

    • Senior Vice President – Regional Development, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Patrick McMahon is senior vice president – regional development for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, he is responsible for the management of the Trust’s development pipeline in the Northeast, including the multi-phase development at Assembly Row in Somerville, Massachusetts.

    Mr. McMahon, who has been active in real estate development for nearly 20 years, joined the Trust in 2013 and most recently served as vice president – development. Prior to this, Mr. McMahon was vice president of development in the Northeast Region at Simpson Housing LLLP, where he oversaw all aspects of the development process. Prior to that, he was a project director at Edward A. Fish Associates, a large New England real estate development company.

    Mr. McMahon sits on the Board of Directors for Heading Home, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides shelter and social services to homeless families. He also sits on the Board of Trustees for the Planning Office for Urban Affairs, Inc., a 40-year-old non-profit affordable housing development corporation. Mr. McMahon holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College.

    Ramsey Meiser

    • Senior Vice President – Development, Mixed Use, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Mr. Ramsey Meiser joined Federal in 2016 as Senior Vice President - Mixed-Use Development for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Meiser is responsible for management of Federal’s multi-billion dollar mixed-use development pipeline in the Mid-Atlantic region from concept thru execution. His initial focus will be on the overall stewardship and execution of Pike & Rose, Federal's newest neighborhood under creation in North Bethesda, MD., as well as strategy and planning for the next set of opportunities in the region.

    Prior to joining the Trust, he served as Senior Vice President of Development at Forest City, where he had overall responsibility for The Yards, Forest City’s 48-acre, 6 million square foot mixed-use riverfront development located in Southeast Washington, DC. Mr. Meiser’s responsibilities included daily oversight of the development team, interaction and negotiations with the US General Services Administration and the District of Columbia, Master Planning efforts of the entire site and executing the office and retail leasing.

    Prior to joining Forest City in 2006, Mr. Meiser held the position of group vice president of Development at the Mills Corporation. In this capacity, he led a wide array of projects across the country. In all, Mr. Meiser was responsible for over five million square feet of development, totaling more than one billion dollars.

    Mr. Meiser holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech. His professional affiliations include the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

    James Milam

    • Senior Vice President – Regional Finance and Portfolio Manager, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    James Milam, CFA is senior vice president – regional finance and portfolio manager for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, he is responsible for the financial management, strategy and performance of a select group of complex assets in the Eastern Region.

    Mr. Milam joined the Trust in 2016 as vice president of finance. Prior to this, he was a portfolio analyst for the Americas Listed Real Estate team at APG Asset Management where he oversaw investments in the retail and triple-net lease sectors. He joined APG from investment bank Sandler O'Neill + Partners where he was a senior analyst in the research department covering health care and lodging REITs and had worked previously as a junior analyst covering retail, office, multifamily and industrial REITs. Mr. Milam began his career in finance at Citi Property Investors, the real estate private equity arm of Citigroup, where his responsibilities included direct real estate acquisitions and asset management, as well as capital raising and client service for both institutional and high net worth investors.

    Mr. Milam holds an M.S. in Real Estate Finance from New York University and an A.B. in Political Economy from Princeton University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of ICSC, NAREIT, the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts.

    Melissa Solis

    • Senior Vice President – Chief Accounting Officer, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Melissa Solis is Senior Vice President – Chief Accounting Officer for Federal Realty Investment Trust. Ms. Solis oversees the Trust’s accounting functions, financial reporting, lease administration and corporate forecasting. Ms. Solis joined Federal Realty in 2007 as Controller and was promoted to Vice President – Chief Accounting Officer in 2011.

    Prior to joining the Trust, Ms. Solis was a senior manager at Ernst & Young in the assurance and advisory business services group specializing in real estate. Her experience includes audit, accounting for complex real estate transactions, financial reporting and analysis, SEC reporting as well as expertise with respect to internal controls.

    Ms. Solis is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor's degree with a double major in accounting and finance from Indiana University, where she graduated magna cum laude.

    John Tschiderer

    • Senior Vice President – Development, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    John Tschiderer is Senior Vice President – Development for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Tschiderer is responsible for the comprehensive direction and management of all phases of project development and redevelopment for Federal Realty's Core Division. John has been instrumental in managing projects ranging from public-private partnerships, mixed-use development to core portfolio redevelopment. His responsibilities include site development feasibility analyses, development program master planning, land use entitlement, and design and construction management.

    Mr. Tschiderer has been active in the land development industry for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Federal Realty in 1998, he worked with Faison Associates as Managing Director of Retail Development, and before that, with Western Development Corporation as Vice President of Development.

    Mr. Tschiderer has a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers where he serves on the Center Build Planning Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Bethesda Green, a nonprofit partnership promoting sustainable growth and living practices in Bethesda, Maryland and sits on the President’s Advisory Council at Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania.

  • 16 Ronald J. Becker

    Ronald J. Becker

    • Vice President – National Operations and Sustainability, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Ronald J. Becker, CRX, CSM is vice president – national operations and sustainability for Federal Realty Investment Trust. He is responsible for providing tactical leadership to property management across the portfolio including the oversight of contracts, general liability claims and risk management, and the implementation of corporate policies, programs and initiatives. In addition, he leads the Trust’s sustainability program, including its $50 million solar energy investment program.

    Mr. Becker, most recently director of national property operations and sustainability, joined the Trust in 2015. Previously, he served as assistant vice president of property management for Cedar Realty Trust. Prior to that, he worked for a number of niche and boutique companies such as Pennsylvania-based WP Realty, Inc., where he managed 3.2 million square feet of real estate. Mr. Becker is a 25-year industry veteran whose career has ranged from the management and leasing of retail, office and flex space throughout the country, to the acquisition of retail shopping centers in the Midwest and West for a 1031 syndicator based in Boise, ID.

    Mr. Becker is a Certified Real Estate Executive (CRX) and a Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM). He has published articles for Management-Marketing-Leasing Today and ICSC, and has taught at ICSC University at the Wharton School of Business as well as at the John T Riordan School of Professional Development in Arizona. Mr. Becker graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

    Porter Bellew

    • Vice President – Chief Information Officer, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Porter Bellew is Vice President – Chief Information Officer for Federal Realty Investment Trust. He is responsible for the Trust’s information technology strategy, services, operations, and team.

    Mr. Bellew has over 25 years of experience in real estate information management. Prior to joining Federal in 2015, Mr. Bellew served as Chief Information Officer for commercial real estate owner, operator, and developer, Washington REIT. Previously, Mr. Bellew worked as Senior IT Director with CarrAmerica Realty, and held senior positions as a consultant with firms KPMG Consulting/BearingPoint and Apgar & Co., where he advised real estate owners, managers and corporate occupants on real estate information strategy and business process improvement.

    Mr. Bellew holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia, and subsequently received his CPA from the state of Virginia.

    Lance Billingsley is Vice President – Anchor Leasing for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this role, Mr. Billingsley oversees large-footprint tenant transactions for 80 shopping centers, representing over 18 million square feet of leasable space from the Boston suburbs through South Florida, including portfolios in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Philadelphia, and metropolitan Washington, D.C.

    Mr. Billingsley previously served as Senior Vice President of Leasing at InvenTrust. Prior to that, he held the position of Director, Anchor Tenant Leasing at Federal Realty for 4 years. A 30-year industry veteran with experience at Brandolini Companies, First Washington Realty, Inc., and Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, Mr. Billingsley's expertise includes leasing, asset management, design and development of shopping centers. He has successfully completed transactions with national retailers including Wegmans, Target, Whole Foods, Home Depot, Lowe’s, TJX, Nordstrom, REI, and several other anchor tenants throughout his extensive career, as well as co-developed prominent ground-up retail projects in Philadelphia.

    Mr. Billingsley holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from James Madison University.

    • Vice President – Regional Development, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Mark T. Brennan is vice president – regional development for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, he is responsible for all phases of development and redevelopment for the Trust’s New York assets.

    Prior to joining the company in 2017 as director of development, Mr. Brennan served as director of development for Blumenfeld Development Group and previously served as Vice President with The Related Companies.

    With over 15 years in the real estate industry, Mr. Brennan’s expertise includes large-scale mixed-use urban developments, retail, acquisitions, joint venture structures, leasing, planning and design, entitlements, construction, and financing. Through his diverse background, he has completed the acquisition and development of over 3.3 million square feet of commercial real estate with a value of over $1.2 billion, negotiated over 800,000 square feet of commercial leases, and closed loans totaling $750 million.

    Mr. Brennan attended The University of Scranton and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He is actively involved in the Long Island Real Estate Group (LIREG), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

    • Vice President – Acquisitions, East Coast, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Mr. Carty is Vice President – East Coast Acquisitions for Federal Realty Investment Trust. Mr. Carty joined Federal Realty in 2000 as a senior financial analyst, was promoted to director of acquisitions in 2003, senior director in 2007 and vice president in 2011. He has been responsible for acquisitions for the Trust's East Coast regions for the past ten years, and has over 15 years of financial analysis and acquisitions experience.

    Prior to joining the Trust, Mr. Carty was a Senior Real Estate analyst at HFF, L.P., a mortgage banking firm specializing in debt placement, equity, structured financing, property sales and loan servicing. His experience includes analysis, submission and closing of real estate loans and property sales, including due diligence and market research.

    Mr. Carty received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a programs committee member for ICSC in South Florida.

    Mr. Patrick Dillon is Vice President of Construction for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, Mr. Dillon manages the construction of the Trust's shopping center portfolio. Projects include pad site development, shopping center expansions and renovations, and multi-family development.

    Mr. Dillon joined the Trust in 1996 in the Property Operation group. He spent nine years managing shopping centers and tenant construction services. In 2005, he was promoted to Construction Manager. He was promoted to Director of Construction in 2012, Senior Director of Construction in 2015, and Vice President of Construction in 2016.

    Mr. Dillon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management from University of Maryland University College. He currently is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.

    Brad Dutton

    As vice president – regional construction for Federal Realty Investment Trust, Brad Dutton manages all phases of construction for the Trust’s Northeast portfolio, including the multi-phase mixed-use development Assembly Row in Somerville, Massachusetts.

    Mr. Dutton, who joined the Trust in 2015 as director of construction, has over 20 years of experience in construction including 15 years with Boston-based Suffolk Construction Company, Inc., where he served in a variety of capacities and most recently as a senior project manager where he was responsible for coordinating and managing all necessary resources throughout the entirety of projects, from start-up through closeout. His experience includes a wide range of project sizes and types including retail, high-rise residential, hotel, infrastructure and aviation.

    Mr. Dutton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Gettysburg College.

    Matt Ehrie

    • Vice President, Regional Portfolio Manager, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Matt Ehrie is vice president – regional portfolio manager for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, he oversees the strategy and performance of the Trust’s Northeast portfolio working closely with the leasing, development, finance, operations, tenant coordination and construction teams to optimize opportunities for the portfolio.

    Mr. Ehrie, a 30-year industry veteran, joined the Trust in 2015 as the general manager for the rapidly growing mixed-use neighborhood Assembly Row in Somerville, MA. Prior to that, he spent 15 years with the Westfield Group, where he most recently served as vice president, general manager leading the operations for Westfield Valley Fair, the company’s most profitable center on the West Coast with a net operating income of $75 million. A seasoned retail and asset management professional, his career includes management positions with Arnold Palmer Golf Management and the J. C. Penney Company.

    Mr. Ehrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.

    Mr. Michael Ennes is Vice President - Residential Branding & Operations for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this position, Mr. Ennes is responsible for the rollout and oversight of the Trust’s residential platform, much of which is concentrated in its large, mixed-use communities like Bethesda Row, Pike & Rose, Santana Row and Assembly Row. The Trust currently owns and oversees operations for nearly 1,500 exclusive residences on the east and west coasts and expects that number to grow significantly over the next five years.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty, Mr. Ennes was Senior Director of brand development for luxury and lifestyle brands for Hilton Worldwide. In that role, Mr. Ennes was responsible for supporting global development efforts to grow the Waldorf Astoria and Conrad brands, and leading the concept development of Canopy, a new global lifestyle brand. In addition, Mr. Ennes’ prior professional experience includes hotel development and contract negotiation, hospitality real estate consulting and valuation, and several hotel operations positions.

    Mr. Ennes received a MBA with a specialization in Hotel Finance and Investments from Daniels College of Business at University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Arts from The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. Mr. Ennes sits on the Hospitality Real Estate Development Advisory Board at Michigan State University.

With an annual construction budget of approximately $20 million, Mr. Inaba and his team fulfill the design, planning, entitlement and build out requirements associated with the roughly 300 leases signed each year for anchor and small shop space.

    Mr. Inaba has over 20 years’ experience in the positions of group Vice President, Tenant Services at The Mills Corporation and Director, Design and Construction for the Diedrich Coffee Corporation. Mr. Inaba is an instructor of Construction and Tenant Coordination for the ICSC JTR School of professional development.

    Mr. Inaba holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California Irvine, a California General Contractor’s License , a SCDP designation (Senior Certified Development, Design and Construction Professional), and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

    Baris Ipeker is Vice President – Investments, Legal Counsel of Federal Realty Investment Trust. Mr. Ipeker is also responsible for managing the Trust’s trademark assets.

    Deirdre M. Johnson, CRX is a Vice President of Asset Management – Core Shopping Center Division for Federal Realty Investment Trust. Mrs. Johnson’s asset management responsibilities include short term and long term value creation initiatives, strategic planning, redevelopment strategies, property branding and creative ancillary income opportunities for a portfolio of shopping centers. In addition, Ms. Johnson currently oversees development of The Stories, a new kind of community designed with the well-being of older adults in mind.

    Ms. Johnson joined the Trust in 2007 as a Director, Asset Management. In addition to responsibility for mixed-use, lifestyle and community shopping centers, Ms. Johnson also spearheaded development and management of the regional paid parking programs as well as overseeing the regional property marketing and public relations programs and residential portfolio.

    Prior to joining Federal Realty Investment Trust in 2007, Ms. Johnson was Vice President and General Manager at Capitol Real Estate Services Inc. She also worked for Urban Retail Properties Company and The Rouse Company in a variety of management, marketing and leasing positions. Mrs. Johnson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. She was awarded the ICSC’s Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX) designation in 2013 and Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation in 1995.     Mike Kelleher is Vice President – Specialty Leasing, Retail and Office for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this role, Mr. Kelleher manages and directs the specialty leasing activities at the Trust’s properties. This includes the short-term leasing of in-line space, sponsorships, corporate partnerships, common area leasing, advertising and programming. During Mr. Kelleher’s tenure, the Specialty Leasing program at Federal Realty has grown significantly. In addition, Mr. Kelleher leases office space on a long-term basis at properties in New York, Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

    Mr. Kelleher has over 20 years of experience in management, sales, and marketing. Prior to joining the trust, Mr. Kelleher served as Vice President and General Manager with the Rouse Company, and later with General Growth Properties, where he was responsible for the Faneuil Hall Marketplace, a historic festival marketplace in downtown Boston. During that time, Mr. Kelleher oversaw the $30 million renovation of the historic property and led the operations, leasing, specialty leasing and marketing efforts, as well as the celebration of the Faneuil Hall Marketplace’s 25th anniversary.

His responsibilities include financial reporting, forecasting and financial analysis for leasing and redevelopment opportunities within the portfolio.

    Mr. Linson has over 20 years of real estate finance and accounting experience. Prior to joining Federal Realty, Mr. Linson held the position of Senior Vice President, Finance and Transactions at Penzance. Among his responsibilities at Penzance, Mr. Linson oversaw all aspects of property finance and asset management for the company’s entire commercial real estate portfolio. Previously, Mr. Linson was the Senior Director, Development Asset Management at the Mills Corporation. He also held finance and accounting positions at PG&E National Energy Group, UBS, Marriott International and Arthur Andersen.

    Mr. Linson received his BBA in Accounting from Loyola University in Maryland and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

    Stuart MacDonald is vice president – regional development for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity, he is responsible for the delivery of a variety of projects for Trust’s Western Region, including mixed-use development, speculative office buildings, multi-unit residential buildings and retail center revitalizations.

    Mr. MacDonald, who joined the Trust in 2008, has 30 years of industry experience which include five years in Development Services for Jones Lang La Salle. Throughout his career, he has managed the real estate development and design services on a wide array of projects. Notable recent projects for the Trust include Class A office buildings and multi-unit luxury residential buildings at Santana Row; previous engagements include campuses for Google (The Googleplex and Crittenden Campus), Accenture Central London and Transit Oriented Development (TOD) facilities for the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART).

    Mr. MacDonald has been a licensed architect in the State of California for over 20 years and has held professional affiliations through the Urban Land Institute and the American Institute of Architects. He earned a degree in architecture from the University of California at Berkeley.

Ms. Ryan is intricately involved with her portfolio's development, acquisitions and operations teams, and relied upon for her retail real estate expertise and innovative approach to traditional and emerging retail and strategic merchandising.

    Prior to joining the Trust in 2015 as director of leasing, Ms. Ryan was a senior leasing representative at SIMON overseeing the leasing of 2.2 million square feet at three regional malls. Prior to that, she spent four years at Samuels & Associates, where she was the lead retail leasing manager responsible for the merchandising and leasing of The Launch at Hingham Shipyard and Blue Back Square in West Hartford, as well as small shop leasing at grocery-anchored shopping centers throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.

    Ms. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Salem State University and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

    Don is active charitably through his work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) among others. In 2002, Don took the reins of the Breath of Life Gala – at the time a fledgling event supporting cystic fibrosis research – and with the help of a committed and tenacious team of volunteers and CFF staffers, grew the gala into what became one of the most financially and experientially successful events in Washington, D.C. and the number one gala nationally for CFF. Don’s daughter, Rachel, was born with the genetic disease.

    Don received his Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State College in 1982, where he graduated with honors and subsequently received his CPA from the state of New Jersey. He is a past chair of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and also serves on the Board of Quality Care Properties (NYSE:QCP), a Maryland healthcare REIT.     Jon E. Bortz

    Jon Bortz is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, a publicly traded real estate investment trust that specializes in the acquisition and investment in upper upscale, full service hotel and resort properties, which he founded in 2009. Mr. Bortz also serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts.

    Prior to founding Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, Mr. Bortz formed LaSalle Hotel Properties, where he served as President, Chief Executive Officer, Trustee and Chairman of the Board. Previously, he formed the Hotel Investment Group of Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated and served as its president; and prior to that, he held the positions of Managing Director, Investment Advisory Division and Senior Vice President, Investment Division, among others at Jones Lang LaSalle.

    Mr. Bortz brings to the Board executive leadership experience, including his long and distinguished career in the lodging industry, and provides fundamental real estate and development experience that is critical to our core business. Mr. Bortz has served on our Board since 2005.

    David Faeder serves as Managing Partner of Fountain Square Properties, a diversified real estate company, which he founded in 2003.

    Prior to founding Fountain Square Properties, Mr. Faeder held the positions of Vice Chairman, President, and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Sunrise Senior Living, Inc. Prior to that time, he served as Vice President of Credit Suisse First Boston, Vice President of Morgan Stanley and Company, Inc., and held several accounting positions with Ernst and Whinney, Better Homes of Virginia, and Goodman and Company.

    Mr. Faeder's public company and accounting experience, having served as president of Sunrise Senior Living, and his real estate investment experience from his time as a private real estate investor make him an invaluable member of the Board. Mr. Faeder has served on our Board since 2003.

  • 4 Elizabeth I. Holland

    Elizabeth I. Holland

    Elizabeth Holland is Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel of Abbell Associates, a 75-year-old private real estate company that specializes in investment, development and management of shopping center, office and enclosed mall properties. Ms. Holland is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Commercial & Retail Council - Blue.

    Prior to joining Abbell, Ms. Holland was a Senior Staff Attorney with the National Bankruptcy Review Commission. Previously, she was a restructuring and business reorganization attorney with the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York, and prior to that, she was a fixed income portfolio manager at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in New York. Additionally, Ms. Holland served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the International Council of Shopping Centers for the 2016 – 2017 term.

    With her broad experience across the legal and real estate industries, and her direct insight into the shopping center industry as former chairman for ICSC, Ms. Holland brings valuable knowledge and a fresh perspective to the Board. Ms. Holland was first elected to our Board in 2017.

    Mark S. Ordan

    Mark Ordan serves as an independent director at Federal Realty Investment Trust, a position he has held since February 2019. Most recently, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Quality Care Properties, Inc. until its sale to Welltower Inc. and ProMedica Health System in 2018.

    Following undergraduate studies at Vassar College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, Mr. Ordan began his career at Goldman Sachs before founding Fresh Fields Market which he ultimately merged with Whole Foods Market in 1996. What followed over the next 20 plus years were roles as chief executive at enterprises including Balducci's, a gourmet supermarket chain; The Mills Corporation, a publicly traded retail real estate company; Sunrise Senior Living, Inc., a publicly traded owner/developer of senior living communities; and Washington Prime Group, a publicly traded mall REIT, before stewarding Quality Care Properties.

    Mr. Ordan serves on the boards of The Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Holton Arms School, Vassar College, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and previously served on the board of Federal Realty Investment Trust from 1995 through 2005. He is a recipient of the Hitchcock Humanitarian Award from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and is an inductee of the Washington D.C. business hall of fame.

    Mr. Ordan, with his extensive experience in the grocery business, publicly traded real estate, strategic planning and his historical knowledge of Federal Realty, is a valuable member of our Board of Trustees.

    Gail P. Steinel

    Gail Steinel is Principal of Executive Advisors, a firm that provides leadership development and consulting services to various organizations. Ms. Steinel also serves as a board member for MTS Systems and DAI. Additionally, she is an author and a leadership instructor at the Yale School of Management and the Villanova School of Business.

    Ms. Steinel retired from BearingPoint in 2007 as Executive Vice President of Global Commercial Services. Prior to that, she served as a senior executive at Arthur Andersen leading its business consulting practice, which became one of the fastest growing global consultancies under her leadership, for over 20 years. She has also lectured on leadership development at West Point and Harvard Business School.

    Ms. Steinel’s extensive experience providing advice to public company boards and management teams on a variety of business issues provides the Board with a valuable perspective on managing risk and systems operations. Ms. Steinel first joined our Board in 2006.

    Warren M. Thompson

    Warren Thompson is President and Chairman of Thompson Hospitality Corporation, the largest minority-owned food and facilities management services company in the country operating in 45 states and 6 foreign countries. In addition, Mr. Thompson serves on the Board of Directors for Compass Group North America.

    Mr. Thompson founded Thompson Hospitality in 1992, when he acquired 31 Bob's Big Boy restaurants and converted them into Shoney's restaurants and several other proprietary restaurant concepts. He expanded the company’s interests into the contract food service arena, and in 1997 created Thompson Hospitality Services, LLC by forging a strategic partnership with Compass Group, the world’s largest food service company. Additionally, Mr. Thompson has served as a board member for several major corporations and universities, including the University of Virginia’s Board of Visitors, Hilb Rogal Hobbs, and Pepsi-Cola’s African American Advisory Board.

    As the owner of a successful food service company for over 25 years, Mr. Thompson benefits the Board through his valuable insight into an industry that represents a large percentage of the Trust’s tenants. Mr. Thompson has served on our Board since 2007.

    Joseph S. Vassalluzzo

    • Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, Federal Realty Investment Trust

    Joseph Vassalluzzo serves as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Federal Realty Investment Trust, a position he has held since February 2006. Mr. Vassalluzzo first joined our Board in 2002.

    Previously, Mr. Vassalluzzo held various officer positions with Staples, Inc. and Staples Realty & Development, a subsidiary of Staples, Inc., from 1989 until 2005, most recently serving as Vice Chairman, where he had responsibility for overseeing domestic and international growth in its retail and commercial operations. Prior to that, he held executive positions at American Stores Co., Acme Supermarkets, Mobil Corp., and Amerada Hess Corp. Additionally, Mr. Vassalluzzo has served on a number of public company boards, including iParty Corp., Commerce Bancorp, Inc., and LifeTime Fitness, Inc. .and currently serves as the independent non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors at Office Depot, Inc.

    Mr. Vassalluzzo’s extensive background in retail and real estate, and his experience serving on the boards of multiple retailers provides the board and management with relevant expertise that is essential to our core business.
