Porter leads Federal Realty’s information technology strategy, services, operations, and team.
Porter has over 30 years of experience in real estate information management. Prior to joining Federal in 2015, he served as chief information officer for commercial real estate owner, operator and developer, Washington REIT. Previously, he worked as senior IT director with CarrAmerica Realty, and held senior positions as a consultant with firms KPMG Consulting/BearingPoint and Apgar & Co., where he advised real estate owners, managers and corporate occupants on real estate information strategy and business process improvement.
Porter holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a master of science degree in accounting from the University of Virginia, and subsequently received his CPA from the state of Virginia.
