Ramsey Meiser

Ramsey is responsible for the management of Federal Realty’s multi-billion dollar mixed-use development pipeline in the Mid-Atlantic region from concept through execution. He oversees the strategy and planning for development opportunities in the region.

Prior to joining Federal in 2015, he served as senior vice president of development at Forest City, where he had overall responsibility for The Yards, Forest City’s 48-acre, 6 million-square-foot mixed-use riverfront development located in Southeast Washington, DC. His responsibilities included daily oversight of the development team, interaction and negotiations with the US General Services Administration and the District of Columbia, Master Planning efforts of the entire site and executing the office and retail leasing. Prior to that, he held the position of group vice president of development at the Mills Corporation. In this capacity, he led a wide array of projects across the country. In all, he was responsible for over 5 million square feet of development, totaling more than one billion dollars.

Ramsey holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Virginia Tech. His professional affiliations include the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
