Michael Linson

Vice President, Finance, Core Division

Michael is responsible all financial aspects to support leasing, asset management, development and operations of a portfolio of 58 shopping center comprising 11 million square feet located in major metropolitan areas along the East Coast between Boston and Washington, DC. His responsibilities include financial reporting, forecasting and financial analysis for leasing and redevelopment opportunities within the portfolio.

Michael has over 20 years of real estate finance and accounting experience. Prior to joining Federal Realty, he held the position of senior vice president, finance and transactions at Penzance, where he oversaw all aspects of property finance and asset management for the company’s entire commercial real estate portfolio. Previously, he was senior director, development asset management at the Mills Corporation. He also held finance and accounting positions at PG&E National Energy Group, UBS, Marriott International and Arthur Andersen.

Michael received his BBA in Accounting from Loyola University in Maryland and an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
