Katie Kurtz

Katie leads Federal Realty’s business development and specialty leasing initiatives, with responsibility for driving revenue growth and advancing efforts that support portfolio performance and revenue diversification. She brings more than 20 years of experience in retail real estate, with a strong background in revenue generation and organizational leadership.

Prior to joining Federal, Katie spent nearly two decades at Brookfield Properties, most recently serving as senior vice president of business development. In that role, she led a national organization of more than 100 professionals and oversaw a business generating over $300 million in annual revenue across a diverse portfolio.

Katie holds a bachelor of arts in psychology from Michigan State University and previously served as a board member of the Brett Armin Sarcoma Foundation, an Illinois-based nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for individuals affected by sarcoma.
