Baris Ipeker
Vice President, Investments, Legal Counsel
Baris is responsible for structuring, negotiating and closing acquisitions, dispositions and property-secured financings for Federal Realty’s portfolio. He is also responsible for managing Federal’s trademark assets.
Baris joined Federal in 2003 as senior real estate counsel, was promoted to director, legal counsel in 2006 and senior director, investments, legal counsel in 2010. In 2016, Baris was promoted to his current role. Prior to joining us, he specialized in real estate transactional work at Venable LLP.
Baris received a bachelor of science in finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and holds a juris doctor from Emory University School of Law.
